There are eight Holbrook lines that were in
America prior to 1800. They are listed below with a reference to the
geographical location where the line is first found in this country.

There are several other Holbrook lines that
came over in the 1800's, both from England and from Germany. Only a few
descendants have been found of these later lines and because contact has been so
limited, they are not included in these brief overviews of each line.
